One man airlifted after I-70 crash

VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – An accident on I-70 ends up with one driver airlifted.

The two semi crash happened just before 5:30 near the three mile marker on I-70.

A preliminary investigation revealed traffic was stopped for an earlier crash in the eastbound lanes near the seven mile marker.

A semi being driven 64-year-old James Boswell from North Carolina failed to stop and hit a semi being driven by 23-year-old Pardeep Singh Sidhu from California in the back of the truck.

Boswell was airlifted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis with head and lower leg injuries.
