Vigil honors life of 15-year-old boy

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A vigil remembered a 15-year-old boy who would have been a senior this year at Arsenal Tech.

Police say someone shot Ja’Vonne Ellis in the chest near 38th and Station Monday night.

They haven’t released a motive. But, the family believes it was a robbery.

Police are still looking for two 16-year-old subjects in connection to the case.
