Saturation Patrol nets several arrests in Bartholomew County

BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY (WISH) – 45 traffic citations were handed out Friday night after Columbus Police officers and Indiana State Police troopers conducted a Saturation Patrol.

The patrol was from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. in Columbus. Four people were arrested for drunk driving, two for illegal consumption of alcohol and one person was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. One other driver was cited for a child restraint violation.

Police also gave out 15 traffic tickets and 30 warnings.
