Eat Drink Indy

Jolene Ketzenberger, founder of EatDrinkIndy.com tells us what’s new in the Indy food/restaurant market.

Mo’s a Place for Steaks has reopened at 15 E. Maryland St. in the former Lorenzo’s spot.

The Salty Cowboy, a new Tex-Mex place from Shari Jenkins, owner of Noah Grant’s, opens Friday at 55 E. Oak St. in Zionsville.

Two Deep Brewing Company will have its grand opening this Saturday at 714 N. Capitol Ave.

And the Cake Bake Shop will be opening this fall at 6515 N. Carrollton Ave. with cakes, cupcakes, pastries and champagne. Owner Gwendolyn Rogers has already gotten a lot of attention; her cupcakes were featured in a movie and she’s taken her cakes backstage to an Elton John concert in Paris and to a Zac Brown concert. It should be a very cool little bake shop.
