FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) — The woman who police say was shot and killed by her husband will be laid to rest this week.

The visitation for Shannon Hall is scheduled for Thursday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be the next day at 11 a.m.

Both are open to the public and will be held at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church in Fishers near 114th Street and Hague Road.

The 40-year-old was found shot to death in her parents home Sunday. Police say her ex-husband, David Hall, killed her before turning the gun on himself.

Shannon Hall was a second grade teacher at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic School for more than 10 years. Her sister described her as a patient and loving teacher who cared very much for her students. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
