Right lane of I-65 northbound near downtown re-opened

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Traffic on I-65 was backed up on Wednesday night because of a semi crash.

According to dispatchers in Marion County the semi jackknifed after hitting a utility pole shortly after 5 p.m.

The right lane of traffic on I-65 northbound near mile marker 116 was closed to clean up fuel that was leaking from the semi. That’s near 30th Street. The lane has since re-opened.

The diver had slight injuries according to dispatchers.
