ANDERSON, Ind,. (WISH) – An Anderson man was arrested on multiple charges early Thursday morning after police responded to a possible burglary.
According to police, officers responded to a residential alarm in the 4700 block of east 200 N and found signs of forced entry.
Officers found Joshua Blue Smith, 24, running away from the area. Police had to taze Smith before they arrested him.
Police said Smith spit in an officer’s face while being put in the back of a squad car.
Smith was preliminarily charged with residential entry, resisting law enforcement, battery by bodily waste, battery and criminal mischief.
