Child homicide case moves on to prosecutor

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – The Lafayette Police Department has submitted their report on the death of a 14-month-old girl to the Tippecanoe Prosecutor’s Office.

According to 24-Hour News 8’s sister station, WLFI, prosecutor’s office will now decide if any charges will be filed.

Skylar Foster’s death was ruled a homicide earlier this month. After Foster died, the Marion County Coroner ruled that the she died from blunt force trauma to the head.
