Former Indy radio announcer passes away from cancer

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A prominent Indianapolis figure has lost his battle with cancer. Al Hobbs passed away Thursday at 71.

Hobbs was a radio announcer for WTLC in Indianapolis. He was also a gospel music singer and influenced the gospel music industry.
