INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Protestors showed their support for Palestine in Indianapolis on Thursday during a rally.

Protestors said more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed since Israel began its attack of Gaza and more than 80 percent of those deaths were civilians.

“I would like to see our government speak out against the indiscriminate killings, instead of supporting it, and saying it’s a right to self defense when self defense is defined as using equal force to repel an attack. There’s no way this is even considered equal force,” Waleed Abdalla said.

A ceasefire is now in place in Gaza. Israeli and Palestinian delegations are on their way to Cairo where the Egyptian government will help in peace talks. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
