Police arrest five people after separate heroin investigations

KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) – Two separate investigations led to the arrest of five people for possession of heroin and dealing heroin.

According to 24-Hour News 8’s news partners at the Kokomo Tribune police arrested one person at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday in the 1600 block of South Union Street. Police arrested Bennavi Green for dealing heroin and possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.

Just three hours later Kokomo police arrested four people for multiple drug charges. The four were arrested at 3:45 p.m. in the 400 block of Amberwood Place. Jessica N. Sutton, 31, Anthony A. Sutton, 32, Brycen J. Strong, 21, and Derek R. Sage, 32, were all arrested for possession of heroin with the intent to deal, dealing heroin and possession of cocaine with the intent to deal.

Sage was also charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and dealing marijuana.
