MCCORDSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – A Greenfield police officer is in trouble with the law and it’s not the first time.

Police arrested Terry Austin in McCordsville over the weekend for operating while intoxicated.

According to an affidavit Austin was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed in the 9500 block of North County Road 600 West as he passed an on duty officer.

The officer followed Austin to the 6400 block of Deer Crossing Boulevard as the vehicle turned into a driveway. Austin was arrested for OWI following a field sobriety test and breathalyzer. Austin’s blood alcohol level was 0.10.

Austin is due in court this Thursday after he was accused of promoting a prostitute.

Back in April, he was put on administrative duty. He’s accused of trying to bribe other officers to pull over his ex-wife because she had a suspended license. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
