PUTNAM COUNTY (WISH) – Indiana State Police Troopers arrested a woman on multiple felony charges after a four day investigation.

Troopers arrested 27-year-old Kylie S. Lantzy of Greencastle for forgery, identity deception and check deception.

According to a release from ISP, troopers believe that Lantzy wrote a check from a victim’s bank account that was closed nearly three years ago. She wrote a check for $97.92 to buy items from a Kroger store in Greencastle on July 26.

ISP believes she got the check from a mutual acquaintance.

Lantzy was held at the Putnam County Jail without bond.
