Fans can sign banner for Pacers’ George

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Fans wanting to show support for injured Indiana Pacers star Paul George can sign a banner or send a get well card, the team announced via social media on Tuesday.

Until after the Fever game this Friday, fans can go to Bankers Life Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis to sign a banner for George, who broke his leg in a gruesome way during the U.S. national team’s exhibition game Friday. He had to be taken out of the Las Vegas facility on a stretcher.

The banner is available for fans to sign during business hours and will eventually hang inside the arena at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Adam Brown and his dad John both signed the banner. “I told him I hope he has a speedy recovery…and that he’s my role model,” says Adam, who plays basketball in school.
