I-70 reopened after power line problem

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Interstate 70 was shut down in both directions Tuesday afternoon while power crews attended to a line. As of 3:30 p.m., crews had completely reopened the roadway.

Dispatchers with Indiana State Police said around 1 p.m. that the interstate was closed at the 85 mile marker for power line work and that Indianapolis Power and Light crews were on scene.

The closure was near Rural Street and Keystone Avenue.
