Man who killed pizza delivery driver found guilty

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The man who shot a pizza delivery driver to death on Jan. 31 was found guilty on all four charges.

27-year-old Shawn Wilson shot 30-year-old Daniel Jaffke at a home in the 4100 block of Continental Court, which is on the south side of the city.

Jaffke was delivering pizza from Papa John’s to a couple. Shortly after Jaffke dropped off the pizza the couple went outside and found the victim lying face down.

The Jeep Jaffke was driving was also reported stolen. it was found the following morning in a parking lot in the 1600 block of South East Street.

His family said their lives will never be the same.

“I’m remembering everything about him. Just everything. A lot of it is painful, a lot of it makes you laugh, smile. I miss him. I miss him so bad, said Jaffke’s mother, Donna.

“My brother lived with me so there’s a giant hole in my house and his room is still there,” said Mary Manning, Jaffke’s sister.

A jury found Wilson guilty of felony murder, murder, robbery and carrying a handgun without a license on Wednesday.
