Health care provider adding 300+ jobs in Indiana

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Business and political leaders announced on Thursday the expansion of an affiliate of the Lutheran Health Network that will bring more than 300 jobs to Fort Wayne over the next two to three years.

Shared Services Center, which currently employs 175 people, processes medical insurance claims, handles billing questions, appeals, insurance collection and customer other customer service functions for Lutheran Health Network’s hospitals and other health care providers in the region.

“It’s our honor to provide high quality, compassionate care to the communities we serve throughout northeastern Indiana,” said Brian Bauer, CEO, Lutheran Health Network. “Now, we are pleased to be able to expand our commitment to the region by creating new opportunities for employment.”

To handle the additional employees, Shared Services Center will lease 62,000 square feet of space at a building located at 1700 Magnavox Way.
