INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police in Indianapolis are looking for a man accused of robbing a local gas station this week who may also be responsible for other armed robberies.
The most recent robbery happened Tuesday around 8 a.m. at the Speedway gas station located in the 2300 block of East Prospect Street. Police say the suspect was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.
The suspect is described as a black male with long braids, wearing a red ball cap with a black NY Yankees logo, a black long sleeve shirt with an animal head on the front, red shorts, black sneakers with white soles and red shoe laces.
Police say the suspect took an unknown amount of money and fled west across Keystone behind the Shell station. The suspect is believed to have committed several other armed robberies recently, police say.
