FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A Fort Wayne man was sentenced to 78 years in prison for his involvement in a double-shooting on Christmas Day in 2013.

Senaca V. Lapsley, 32, was found guilty of two counts of aggravated battery, criminal recklessness and of being a habitual offender in July. He was sentenced on Thursday. Of his 78-year sentence, 30 of those years are for his habitual offender conviction.

Police said Lapsley shot two people early Christmas morning after a fight broke out at the Sports and Spirits bar on East Wayne Street. Both victims were taken to the hospital, one of whom was in critical condition.
