Cumberland Arts Goes to Market

Since 2009, Cumberland Arts, Inc. has produced a celebrated outdoor festival that joins arts with the Town of Cumberland Farmers Market creating an event that is known as Cumberland Arts Goes to Market.  We have several local musicians involved on the planning team, so we offer a rich and varied entertainment line-up.  Performing groups will include the Irish Airs, Wild Mercy, Wax Chaotic, Herculean Cheese Storm, Indianapolis Men’s Chorus and more. More than 100 artists, craft and farmers market vendors, two stages of live entertainment and a variety of great food ranging from festival fare to food trucks make this a GREAT summer day!

Festival day at Cumberland Arts Goes to Market starts easy with plenty of free parking and free event admission.   Farmers Market Vendors open at 8 a.m.  Art and craft booths and other activities along Saturn Street in Cumberland, Indiana open at 9 a.m.

The festival has fun activities for kids and adults.  With a wide range of price points and a varied selection of artwork, crafts and farmers market products, the festival offers something for everyone!

New this year will be a special festival cupcake by Two Sisters Cakery and Bakery, a Cumberland area business.  Two Sisters is developing a special Cumberland Arts Goes to Market Cupcake.  I think your viewers would enjoy hearing about this special festival treat.  We’ll bring samples!  We could have a couple of artists come with samples of their work and we could have one or two of our entertainers appear on the show.
