INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An Indianapolis man was sentenced to more than 17 years in prison after police found evidence he had a loaded gun, duct tape, zip ties and baby oil while stalking two women, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office.

O.C. Todd had previously served sentences for five counts of criminal confinement and two different resisting law enforcement cases.

Todd was initially arrested in April 2013 after someone reported he was stalking women with binoculars. When officers arrived, they found him standing outside a pickup truck. He dropped a bag, and investigators later found the gun and other items inside of it. Police officials said he fled from them before being arrested.

In addition to his prison sentence for illegally possessing a firearm, Todd must pay a $5,000 fine and will have five years of supervised released after serving his sentence. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
