Plane runs off runway, no injuries reported

GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) – Indiana State Police say a plane ran off the runway on Tuesday afternoon.

At 3:35 p.m. on Tuesday state police were called to the Greenwood Municipal Airport for a plane crash.

The pilot Roger Law, 45, of Greenwood landed his airplane at the airport then ran off the runway due to a right landing gear brake failure.

The left wing struck the runway causing a small amount of fuel to leak.
