INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police are investigating an overnight crash at Keystone Avenue and Kessler Boulevard.

Just before 2 a.m. Sunday, police say a car was heading south on Keystone Avenue and ran a red light then hit an SUV.

The SUV went about 40 feet off the road, went through a fence and hit a tree. The driver of that vehicle was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

The man who was driving the car was taken by police to get a blood draw. Police believe he had either been drinking or using drugs before the crash. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
