INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – DigIn – A Taste of Indiana went off without a hitch despite a soggy morning on Sunday.
Thousands of people dug in to dozens of small plates at White River State Park.
There were food trucks and six huge tents with more than 35 local chefs dishing up favorites from pork belly and duck to Indiana Succatash.
“We’re passionate about food. We’re passionate about what we do and we love our customers. They’re who keeps us in business and let us have a great staff working for us. So, it’s a lot of fun,” Cindy Hawkins with Circle City Sweets said.
There were also beer and wine tents, booths set up to let you meet the growers and farmers who actually supply these restaurants the fresh ingredients and there were cooking demos throughout the day.
As they say, it’s Indiana’s farm to fork celebration.
