Several car break-ins reported on ISU campus lots

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Indiana State University Police say a number of a cars have been broken into recently while on campus lots.

Most of the break-ins occurred during overnight hours, police say. The main area is on the north side of campus in Lots A, 13 and 24.

Additional officers are patrolling those areas as the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Office of Public Safety at (812) 237-5555.

Police are also reminding students, faculty and staff to not leave valuable items in the passenger area of their cars.
