SHERIDAN, Ind. (WISH) – According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department, around 3 a.m. Thursday, three men broke into a home in the 20000 block of Fremont Moore Road.  Five people were inside the home at the time of the break in.

Police say one of the suspects displayed a gun as he demanded money and ordered the victims to the ground.

The suspects left after rummaging through the home and telling the victims not to call police.

One of the victims went to a neighbor’s house to report the crime after the suspects fled.

The suspects took cell phones, electronics, a saxophone and a purse that had a debit card inside.  No one was injured in the incident.

The suspects are described as black males in their late teens or early twenties.

Police say one of the suspects had a gun, another wore a clown mask and a third had a devil mask on during the robbery.

Investigators have not determined if the victims were targeted in this invasion, or if it was random.

“It’s early in the investigation clearly home invasion at 3am seems random time will tell us more,” said Hamilton County Sheriff Mark J. Bowen.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office at 317-773-1282.
