ANDERSON, Ind. (WISH) — Fire officials in Anderson are investigating what caused a fire at an area funeral home Friday morning.

Firefighters were called to the Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Home, located at Indiana 32 and Rangeline Road, to fight the fire.

Rozelle-Johnson President Laura Beeler tells 24-Hour News 8’s news partners at the The Herald Bulletin that the fire was contained to the west end of the building.

Beeler said that someone reported seeing lightning strike the building and then flames appear, but she could provide no other details.

No one was hurt in the fire. The cause is under investigation. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
