SOUTH HAVEN, Ind. (AP) — Authorities in northwestern Indiana say a brother and sister in their 60s were found dead inside the apartment they shared.

Porter County sheriff’s deputies were called to the home in the community of South Haven on Thursday after a son of one of the victims discovered the bodies.

Sgt. Larry Laflower tells The Times of Munster that investigators found no signs of foul play or forced entry into the apartment in the community about 15 miles east of Gary.

The county coroner says those who died are 68-year-old James Foster and 64-year-old Janelle Morales. Coroner Chuck Harris says the two might have been dead since Saturday and that the causes of the death were under investigation. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
