Jolene Ketzenberger, founder of tells us what’s new in the Indy food/restaurant market Hop Cat and Tom + Chee are two creating a lot of buzz.

Hop Cat has opened at College Avenue and Westfield Boulevard. The Garfield Eatery & Coffee opened today at 2627 Shelby St., and Tom + Chee, which specializes in tomato soup and grilled cheese, opens Friday at 5650 W. 86th St. in the Traders Point Shopping Center.

As for food/restaurant-related events, tonight Indiana City Brewing, at 24 Shelby St., in conjunction with Sriracha Indy, is debuting its Sriracha Gold beer at a free event from 6-10 p.m. at the brewery that will also feature such hot sauce-infused foods as caramelized peach Sriracha ice cream from Lick and Sriracha lime brittle from Chocolate for the Spirit (which is delicious!).
