INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Because of the Labor Day holiday, trash and recycling pick-up will run on a slide schedule next week.

The Department of Public Works wants to remind Indianapolis residents that there will be no curbside recycling, residential, and heavy trash service on Monday, Sept. 1 in observance of Labor Day.

Officials say services for the week will be delayed by one day through Saturday, Sept. 6. Pick-up will return to normal on Monday, Sept. 8.
