Three month meth investigation nets arrest

NEW CASTLE, Ind. (WISH) – Police arrested a man from Mt. Summit on a felony warrant following a three month long investigation.

Back in May, Meth Suppression Troopers served a warrant on a home in the 200 block of West Main in Mt. Summit for an ongoing investigation for meth manufacturing.

Evidence was gathered during the search of the home. An arrest warrant was issued for the arrest of 45-year-old Bruce Shoaf.

Shoaf was spotted by Henry County Drug Task Force in a parked vehicle in the 100 block of North 12th Street across the street from the Henry County Jail.

Shoaf was in possession of pills and marijuana when he was taken into custody. He was preliminarily charged for possession of meth, possession of precursors and possession of a schedule II substance among other charges.
