INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Fire crews checked out a plane after it landed in Indianapolis Friday morning after there were reports of a possible engine fire.

Airport officials say a regional jet operating for US Airways was scheduled to land at the Indianapolis International Airport Friday morning. It requested to be met by airport responders because of a possible fire in the engine.

Officials say the flight landed safely around 10 a.m. The 47 people on board were bussed from the airfield to the terminal.

The flight had departed from Philadelphia.
