Woman dies after three-car crash in Anderson

ANDERSON, Ind. (WISH)  — A woman died after a three-car crash on the south side of Anderson on Friday night.

According to 24-Hour News 8’s partners, The Herald Bulletin, the crash happened at the intersection of 67th Street and Robinhood Lane near the Meijer on Scatterfield Road around 6:30 p.m.

Officials said a woman, who was the driver of one of the vehicles, was killed in the accident. Her name was withheld until family members were notified. The other drivers and several other passengers suffered minor injuries that didn’t require hospitalization.

Sgt. Jake Brown of the Anderson Police Department said investigators are still collecting evidence and information about the wreck from witnesses and drivers and few details were available.

Investigators closed off 67th Street for several hours as they examined the scene.
