INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) –  A 3-year-old boy with cerebral palsy can get around much easier thanks to a very generous donation.

On Sunday, the Darrell Gwynn Foundation donated a $29,000 custom powered wheelchair to Mahkey Munoz-Burger. Munoz-Burger was diagnosed with Spastic Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy.

The chair was given to him during the NHRA U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Raceway.

The boy’s family says this gives him the opportunity to make his own choices and go where he wants to go.

The donation was made possible by long-time DGF donors Terry and Doug Chanlder.
