INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police have arrested two people in connection to a shooting that injured an 11-year-old boy.

Zachary Lillad and Anthony Baxter were arrested, but their photos weren’t immediately released.

According to IMPD officers, the boy was sitting inside of a house on South Chester Avenue when something hit him. Police said a “projectile” that may have come from a bullet went through an outside air conditioning unit attached to a window of the home and hit the boy.

The boy was taken to Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health. There was no word on his condition Monday night. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
