The 48th Penrod Arts Fair

The 48th Penrod Arts Fair, celebrating arts and culture, is one of the nation’s largest single-day art fairs. This year, the September 6 event features over three hundred talented artists on the grounds of the Indianapolis Museum of Art from 9am to 5pm. Go inside the artist studio of Nancy Keating and discover how she turns vintage toasters into mosaic works of art. The event on Friday is rain or shine.

On Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 9am-5pm, one of the largest single-day art fairs in the United States will converge on 26 beautiful acres of the expansive Lilly Estate at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. The Penrod SocietyTM continues to exceed expectations by signing over 300 artists in addition to six stages of entertainment, 70 arts-related non-profit organizations, an extensive children’s area, and plenty of food and beverage. Patrons to this year’s Fair will want to make sure to purchase their tickets in advance at the discounted price of $15! Day-of gate admission prices are $20.

This year patrons can pay $20 the day of the Arts Fair by cash or credit card or save $5 in advance by purchasing tickets online at or at these fine locations: participating Marsh Supermarkets and MainStreet Markets, The National Bank of Indianapolis, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, and Hubbard & Cravens. Children 10 and under and accompanied by an adult are admitted free of charge. No pets please.
