HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — An ambulance was called to the scene of a semi and school bus crash in Hancock County just as a precaution Wednesday morning.

The crash happened around 8:10 a.m. at County Road 400 West and 1000 North.

Police dispatchers say there were children on board the Mount Vernon School bus, but no one was hurt. Medics were called to the scene to check the children out.

Police say the semi clipped the mirrors of the bus. It wasn’t immediately clear if there were any traffic restrictions due to the crash.
