Red Gold is celebrating fall with a crock pot giveaway. For 3 weeks 9/17-10/8 Red gold will celebrate fall and the fall harvest by launching a ” Red Gold 2-a-day-Crock-Pot-Give- a-way. They will give away two slow cookers everyday 9/17-10/8.

SLOW COOKER MACARONI AND CHEESE

MAKES 8 SERVINGS

PREPARATION TIME:  15 MINUTES  u  COOKING TIME 4 HOURS
2              cups pasta, uncooked
3              tablespoons butter

8              ounces American processed cheese, cubed
8              ounces cream cheese, cubed
1              tsp. Dijon mustard
1              cup milk
1/2          cup heavy cream
1              (12 ounce) can evaporated milk

1              (14.5 ounce) can RED GOLD® PETITE DICED TOMATOES with GREEN CHILIES or

2 (10 ounce) RED GOLD® DICED TOMATOES & GREEN CHILIES, drained
Place the uncooked pasta in the bottom of a 3.5-qt. crock pot that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Add the remaining ingredients, except RED GOLD® PETITE DICED TOMATOES with GREEN CHILIES, to the crock pot and stir until well combined. Cook on LOW for 4 hours.

Just before serving add RED GOLD® PETITE DICED TOMATOES with GREEN CHILIES; stir to combine.

BLACK BEAN &PUMPKIN CHILI

Believe it or not, pumpkin is what makes this chili recipe so special.  Freeze a batch for later, it tastes even better reheated. The great pumpkin flavor infused in a delicious turkey chili – perfect for the fall

MAKES 10 SERVINGS

PREPARATION TIME:  20 MINUTES  t  COOKING TIME:  4 HOURS

2              tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1              medium onion, chopped

1              pound ground turkey or 1½ cups cubed cooked turkey

1              yellow bell pepper, chopped

3              garlic cloves, minced

2              (15 ounce) cans black beans, rinsed and drained

1              (14.5 ounce) can solid-pack pumpkin

1              (14.5 ounce can RED GOLD® DICED TOMATOES

1              (14.5 ounce) can RED GOLD® PETITE DICED TOMATOES with LIME JUICE & CILANTRO

3              cups chicken broth

2              teaspoons chili powder

1½          teaspoons each cumin and oregano

Salt and black pepper to taste

In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat.  Add turkey, onion, pepper and garlic; cook and stir until tender. Drain well. Transfer to slow cooker.  Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine.  Cook, covered on low for 4 to 5 hours.Option: Top with cubed avocado and thinly sliced green onions
