Severe weather possible in Central Indiana Wednesday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Central Indiana could see severe weather Wednesday. Right now, it looks like the highest chances for severe weather could occur in central and northern Indiana.

There may be several rounds of rain and thunderstorms across the area Wednesday, however the potential for the strongest storms looks to be in the late afternoon and evening hours Wednesday.

These storms could contain damaging wind, large hail, isolated tornadoes and the threat for flash flooding.

These storms will also likely contain a lot of lightning, so there could be power outages.  Be prepared and make sure to have your mobile phone and mobile devices charged by Wednesday afternoon.
