Celebrate National Indoor Plant Week with Engledow

“It is a chance for us to bring Indianapolis together and teach people about heath and wellness benefits that indoor plants provide, ” says Craig Engledow, Event Specialist at Engledow Group.

To help celebrate National Indoor Plant Week (September 15 – 19, 2014), Engledow Group will be giving away 3,000 plants Wednesday, September 17, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monument Circle in Downtown Indianapolis. Engledow employees will be handing out Lemon-Lime Warneckii plants on the south steps of the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument. The plants will be available until 2 p.m., or until supplies run out.

Engledow will be joined on Monument Circle by several food trucks, including The NY Slice, Spice Box, Mac Genie, and Scout’s Treats.

As a lead-up to the event, Engledow will host a daily contest on their Facebook page (facebook.com/engledowgroup) for seven days where they’ll ask plant-related trivia questions. Plants will be given as a prize for the first correct answer, and the plants will increase in size as the contest progresses. To help promote the contest, plant giveaway, and National Indoor Plant Week, Engledow will be using the hash tag #PlantWeek on social media.
