RUSH COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — The fun came to an end Tuesday night for a group of runaway cows that were on the loose for a week.

Police in Rush County say sometime last week, a group of seven cows went missing from a farm just outside of Rushville.

On Tuesday, police received a call from a passerby who spotted the herd in a bean field.

Police say they made contact with a local farmer, who had been looking for the cows for a week.

The cows were corralled Tuesday evening and returned to their home on the farm.
