COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) – Police said two Michigan men were arrested Sunday after allegedly robbing a Columbus gas station at gunpoint.
According to the Columbus Police Department, Jerry Lee Strawser, 22, of Detroit, and James Clarence Maddox, 26, of Detroit, robbed the Speedway gas station located at 2350 W. Jonathan Moore Pike and then led police on a high-speed chase Sunday morning.
Officers said Strawser went into the gas station to rob it and hit a customer in the face with a gun. He then left the gas station and got into a Jeep driven by Maddox, police said.

Police arrested both men without incident inside the gas station.
