Approximately 30 guns taken from Indy gun store

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A gun store was broken into on the south east side of Indianapolis according to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to the 3700 block of East Raymond Street for a break-in alarm on Sunday after 3 a.m. When officers arrived the business had forced entry to the front door.

Upon further investigation it appeared a vehicle was used to open the interior doors.

The store owner was contacted by the building owner to help police determine what was stolen. After reviewing the store the owner said as many as 30 guns could be missing.

No other items were reported missing according to a police report.

IMPD collected evidence from the scene. The investigation is ongoing as of Monday evening.
