WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A second arrest has been made after a West Terre Haute drive by shooting.
On Wednesday, September 24th police say Dakota Lee Miller was driving a vehicle, when he and his friend Trint Catterson went to a home on Interurban Road in West Terre Haute to engage in a physical altercation.
Police say when Miller stopped the vehicle, Catterson began firing the shotgun toward the home and a parked vehicle in the driveway.
52-year-old Peter Roberts was visiting the home, and standing on the front porch when he was struck by bullet fragments from the shotgun blast.
Police say Miller sped away to avoid apprehension, but was later located and admitted his involvement to detectives.
Miller faces charges of Battery by Means of a Deadly Weapon, Criminal Recklessness and Criminal Mischief.
Miller and Catterson are both being held in the Vigo County Jail.
