FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) — A historic Fishers home will take a road trip this weekend.

Preservation groups raised money to save the Flanagan House, also known as the Kincaid House, from demolition.

The house is 150 years old and is currently located off Interstate 69 on the corner of 106th Street and Kincaid Drive.

On Saturday, crews will physically relocate it about a half mile north. A developer bought the two-story brick home and the land where it currently sits last year.

The developer wants to turn the area into a mixed use business and development center. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
