INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The canal was turned pink in downtown Indianapolis Friday morning in honor of breast cancer awareness.

Colts vice-chair and co-owner Kalen Irsay, mascot Blue and breast cancer survivors helped turned the canal pink.

The team joins the NFL’s national “A Crucial Catch” campaign in partnership with the American Cancer Society to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month and encourage annual screenings for women over the age of 40.

The Colts are dedicating Sunday’s game against the Ravens to Breast Cancer Awareness, which will feature special elements including pink player uniforms and a field presentation with breast cancer survivors.
