Lori Wilson previews the Circle City Classic Parade

24-Hour News 8 anchor Lori Wilson, gives us a preview of this weekend’s Circle City Classic Parade.

If you want to come down, you want to get there a little early.  You want to get the bleacher seats right in front of what is happening. But if you can’t make it down, tune in right here tomorrow morning on WISH-TV.

Lori will be hosting the parade coverage along with 24-Hour News 8 anchor Daniel Miller.

WISH-TV TO OFFER EXCLUSIVE, LIVE COVERAGE OF
THE 2014 CIRCLE CITY CLASSIC PARADE

Indianapolis, IN – September 29, 2014 – For the 13th year in a row, WISH-TV will broadcast the high-stepping, fun-filled Circle City Classic parade as it marches through downtown Indianapolis on Saturday, October 4. The parade is a highlight of the Classic weekend and the ceremonial prelude to the Circle City Classic football game.

“The Circle City Classic parade is a fall tradition and a favorite among fans throughout Central Indiana,” said Les Vann, WISH-TV president and general manager. “WISH-TV is proud to partner with the Circle City Classic and celebrate the educational achievement and cultural excellence this parade honors by giving viewers a front row seat through our live coverage.”

WISH-TV’s exclusive coverage of the parade steps off at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 4. 24-Hour News 8 anchors Lori Wilson and Daniel Miller will host parade coverage, with reporters Howard Monroe, Julian Grace, Dustin Grove, and Teresa Mackin, along with Amy, The Face of MyINDY-TV 23 providing sideline coverage.

In addition to those watching at home on WISH-TV, nearly 100,000 spectators are expected to line the parade route to witness more than 100 units, including celebrities, drill teams and marching bands from across the country.

24-Hour News 8’s Daybreak will provide parade goers pre-parade weather and traffic reports, on Saturday from 6:00 – 9:00 a.m. 24-Hour News 8 at 11PM will then have game highlights and a complete Classic weekend wrap-up.     www.wishtv.com
