GREENFIELD, Ind. (WISH) — Winds that accompanied the storms that moved through central Indiana Friday morning damaged several tents at a well-known Indiana festival.
Organizers say 10 tents for the annual Riley Festival were heavily damaged during the storms Friday morning.
Downtown Greenfield is the home for the Riley Festival that takes place each year. The festival celebrates the birthday of Hoosier poet James Whitcomb Riley.
Organizers say the festival will go on as scheduled Friday. Vendors whose tents were damaged will have to decide whether or not to continue with the weekend event.
