SAINT JOSEPH, Ind. (WISH) – Indiana Conservations Officers are investigating a case of deer poaching.
They say the deer was shot sometime between Sunday night and 10 Monday morning at Potato Creek State Park.
Department of Natural Resource State Park Employees found a deer on park property just south of New Road between Redwood and Primrose. DNR said a male deer’s head was removed leaving the body behind. It is believed the deer was poached near the road.
Officers say they don’t have any suspects at this time. But, a reward is offered for information leading to the arrest of the poacher.
