Red Gold Tip: Recover Soup

After a run you need to replenish energy as quickly as possible. Red Gold has a great recovery soup that is quick and easy to prepare.   This soup will help decrease recovery time and muscle weakness by proving carbohydrates, electrolytes, sodium and protein.

A good rule of thumb for post-run food is a ratio of 1 gram of protein to 3 grams of carbs. 2          (10.74 ounce) cans chicken rice soup


  • Combine above ingredients in a microwave safe container. Stir to combine and cook on HIGH for 3 minutes. Spoon into a soup bowl and enjoy.
